SPS CYCLISTS 2013
Our Goal, Our Journey
In early June, a few days after final exams, our team of 8 St. Paul’s School students will depart from campus in Concord, NH to fly to the Pacific Coast to begin a 46 day, 3,520+ mile bicycle journey across the United States. We are volunteering this time to raise funds for and spread awareness about wounded U.S. soldiers. We have set a challenging yet attainable goal to raise $100,000 for Ride 2 Recovery.
Ride 2 Recovery is a nonprofit organization that supports mental and physical rehabilitation programs for wounded U.S. veterans featuring cycling as the core activity. Its mission is to improve the health and wellness of wounded vets in Spinning Recovery Labs at Military and VA locations, and to support the vets in numerous outdoor cycling events around the United States. Over 90% of each dollar donated to Ride 2 Recovery goes directly to helping wounded soldiers.
We will arrive on the Atlantic Coast in late July with thousands of miles under our wheels, and a sense of accomplishment, having spread awareness of this remarkable program. Without your help, it would not be possible. Please join us in supporting our veterans and Ride 2 Recovery.
